the dog people

These are sessions where I coach you how to train your dog.

They are an hour in length and we work on your handling, timing and understanding.

You will leave with a better undersanding of what you need to be doing to achieve your goals, as well as, practical steps to work on between each session.

Sessions can be booked in Bracknell, Windsor or Richmond Park.

You do not need an assessment before booking this service.

The perfect program for those wanting off lead freedom or to resolve behavioural issues such as reactivity.

This service is focused on resetting your dogs current undesirable habits and building them into a calmer, more confident dog that undersands the tasks being asked of them.

During the program your dog resides in my home with me, living alongside my dogs (no outdoor kenneling).

The duration of the program is dog dependant but is a minimum of 3 weeks.

At the end of each program your dog leaves with:

• recall around any distraction
• loose lead walking
• crate trained
• neutrality to dogs, people, cars
• calm in urban environmens

Asessments are done in Bracknell, Windsor or Richmond Park.

optional extras include muzzle conditioning, desensitisation to grooming, an out or drop (dropping a ball), cafe/pub settling etc

Welcoming a puppy home is an exciting time but it can also be stressful if you’re not prepared.

The program starts with a 30 minute phone consult where I discuss everything I would have in place before your puppy even arrives, as well as, the first few nights establishing a routine and sleep schedule. We will discuss do’s, don’ts and depending on your needs thereafter you can book a coaching session or to have your puppy stay with me.

The program itself is two weeks and it includes:

• Crate training
• Toilet training
• Positive exposure
• Freeshaping recall

It’s important to remember this program is not training in the convential sense, it’s building your puppy into the dog who will share their life with you.
